Since 2005, he has been developing his representative series "Shojohi," which features a beautiful, vivid vermilion color like lacquer. The works are not physical objects like bowls or pots, but have a conceptual meaning of a "boundary" that separates the outside from the inside.

In addition to museums and galleries throughout Japan, he has exhibited in solo exhibitions in Paris, New Zealand, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, and other places.
