About Utsuwa Marukaku

Utsuwa marukaku carries modern tableware made by Japanese craftsmen, as well as tableware from the good old days made from the end of the Edo period through to the Showa period. We have a wide selection of tableware for everyday use, such as plates and bowls that make food look even more delicious, rice bowls that fit comfortably in your hand, and teapots and teacups that become more cherished the more you use them.

Just like the dignity that people acquire as they age, antiques allow us to see the length of time that a piece has lived. Each piece has its own expression and story. The depth and change in color that comes with age is a charm that new pieces don't have.

At Utsuwa marukaku, we deal in many relatively new antiques from the Edo period to the Taisho and mid-Showa periods. We have tableware such as sake cups and stamp plates that can be casually incorporated into your life without being too serious. We provide a place where you can find your favorite tableware that will make your daily life a little richer.
